Common Sense in Management

There was a discussion on a local radio few days ago regarding 'academic achievement' and 'street smart' in the job market. Well, my take is the former is a 'door opener' whereas the latter will see if you go far or not-far-enough. What say you...

My first exposure to management is refreshingly, what I call, 'common sense management'. It is very 'street smart' inclined and I tend to agree with this approach in management. Management gurus could write books and books on this topic. Maybe, you could drop your thoughts and exprience here??

I hazard to guess that most voters are from Kuching and hence, nothing beats your own HOMETOWN, not even the best cities in the whole wide world. So you have it...
